It's pretty crazy, really.

I started this blog a year ago off an impulse, and 365 days and over 1000 pictures later, it's really become a part of my life. One of the things I used to constantly do was dwell on the past; I remember at one point, I'd relive 5th grade all the time. That was a great year, and things just kind of went downhill from there, so I'd keep going back and replaying my favorite memories. Some days I would just lie on my bed and drown in my thoughts. And you would think this project would've further contributed to that; I mean it's like, now I even have a picture to go with it! And I'm not saying that this blog ended up being the answer to everything and that it's made me all happy and left me wiser or something. Because that's not what I'm saying at all. It didn't do any of that. It's kind of like ... at some point I realized I didn't have to keep mulling over what good thing happened yesterday or a month ago or whatever. I had all these pictures, and I was never going to forget what happened on those days. Like, I could just let go of it, and kind of live in the moment, and it'd be okay.

If that makes any kind of sense. I'm not quite sure what I'm trying to say either lol.

I'm glad I have this blog and have these pictures documenting these events in my life. I've met people I never thought I'd meet, I've been to places I'd never thought I'd be, I've tried things I never thought I'd try. Granted, this year hasn't been all positive things. Like I said, it's not like my problems just went away. I've had plenty of regrets this year. I've more than disappointed myself on several occasions. I've been the lowest I've ever been. But then I've also been at my highest. This is all I'm gonna say: August 11th was a breakthrough day for me.

And no, it's not because I "owned up a Mexican", to put it in Khang's terms, lol.

Anyhow, I'm not ready for this all to be over. Not yet, anyway. So let's go for a second round, shall we. (:

So today was that lunch-get-together-potluck thing that Aunt Naiyi (or Naivi? Idek.) invited us to. Mom was gonna go with me, but I don't know what happened; I think she had to pick up Andy cuhs he was coming home today, so Dad ended up going with me.

I haven't been to his place in a while; it looks really nice now.

Dude omg. Her house is freaking huge. Like, she was giving us a tour and there were like 5 bedrooms and bathrooms and there was a sauna and asdf. Wtf. It was really nice though. I think she's living with her boyfriend, but I still think it's kind of lame to live in such a huge house with only two people. Anyhow, lunch was good. Someone brought these, like, huge shrimp, and they were soo good. It's like the kind of stuff you'd expect to get at Red Lobster or something. Except. It was free. And there was a lot and no one was eating it! So I kept going back for more hurhurhur.

Benjamin brought his girlfriend and I guess she's from England or something (or maybe she just staying there cuhs she didn't have an accent or anything). Anyhow her name's Jessie, and she seemed nice enough, except she freaking looks exactly like Christy Toma (but her face isn't as long) so I couldn't really get myself to be really conversational with her lol.

They made me play piano and I failed miserably. D:

So Andy didn't get me that t-shirt I asked for, but he got me this "sand-globe" rattlesnake thing, and I thought it was pretty cool. (:

Kent has no friends so I'm talking to him. Plus he wanted to be in my last post so there. (x

I'll write a better "concluding thoughts" spiel here later. <3

Took the SAT Reasoning at Peary today (they moved it back to the old site again! Ugh, I wish they would just pick a spot and stick with it -_-); I'm feeling pretty good about it, although that essay is just haunting me. D8 And as usual, no one was in my class, although Felix was there; man, I haven't seen that guy since 8th grade. He wasn't as hostile to me as he was in middle school either hahaha.

Mom's student brought us some brownies they made. *____* ♥

Mas was showing us this powerpoint about Michael Jordan's tips for Golf or something and it was kind of funny the way he was talking about it, plus it was a nice way to eat up the first 20 minutes of class hahaha.

So we were in Calc, and randomly out of nowhere, Jane was like "Omg, you know at that bonfire we had during the summer how we cooked the hot dogs with the wood?" And I was like "Yeah ..." and then she was all "OMG. IT WASN'T DAVID'S IDEA. IT WAS MY IDEA. MINE. MINEMINEMINE." And I was like "lol okay." And she was like "YOU SAID IT WAS DAVID'S IDEA." And I was like "lol then just leave a comment on the picture saying it was your idea." And she was like "I CAN'T. YOUR BLOG DOESN'T LET ME COMMENT." And I was like "Ohhhhhhh you mean my blog. ... What, do you want me to go back and say it was your idea?" And she was like "Yeah. =D"

SO LET IT BE KNOWN THAT ON JUNE 18, 2009, IT WAS NOT, IN FACT, DAVID, WHO THOUGHT OF STICKING THE STICKS INTO THE HOLES IN THE WOOD. IT WAS, IN FACT, JANE. |:

Top 20 Homecoming Candidates were revealed today! I'm really glad David got in, but a lot of the candidates were so ridiculous, especially since, like, practically all of the girls were from that crowd. :\

We started building our fish ... water bottle ... habitat ... thing in Enviro today lol. The thought of sticking a fish in there excites me for some reason LOL.

I'm still on the board! :`DDD Omg, I totally thought I threw the test yesterday cuhs I kept zoning out. But then Estabrook was like "Yeah the cutoff was 80%" so I was like "....... Oh. -.-"

Andy left for Texas this morning for this refereeing gig; it was really annoying cuhs he took the shampoo and toothpaste from my bathroom and I had to open up new ones. And. I DON'T LIKE DOING THAT. BECAUSE WHEN HE COMES BACK THERE'S GONNA BE TWOOO. Dx

... Yeah. Where to even start. It was second period and Jennifer was telling me that Jasmyne was talking to this "Ja-nay-nay" girl about that thing. And I was like "WHAT. O_O DUDE." But then I wanted to hear it from Jasmyne herself so I asked her after 2nd. And it ended up being so much worse.

The second Homecoming activity was today; we went over to watch, but it was kind of boring so we left a few minutes in lol. They were in teams and had to find some bottles or something.

So I'm not really sure what to think right now. I so did not need that today, especially since my current situation already scares the shit out of me. I know what everyone else said, and I know that time and time again I've proved to be a horrible judge of character and my instincts have been way off, but still. I think I'm gonna go with my gut feeling this time and just hope I've placed my trust in the right person.

... lolol I totally make it sound more serious than it actually is.

We had kind of a mini-debate in Gov about federalists vs. anti-federalists, and we were on the anti-federalists side (everyone was like asdf cuhs no one wants to be an anti-federalist LOL). Fatemah owned that shit up, and Ken ... well. He was okay. LOL. Ned was the main debater on the other side and he did really well too. But yeah no, when they opened up questions, this is what happened:

Karissa: something something something --
Fatemah: Yeah, but --
Karissa: Can I finish?
Us: OH DAMN.
Hendricks: Something about not interupting.
Fatemah: something something something --
Jasmine: INTERUPTS --
Anti-federalists: WTF STOP INTERUPTING.
Jasmine: lol I just wanted to give her a taste of her own medicine.
Us: OH DAAAAMN.

Hahahaha I was like laughing my ass off.

Me, Tiffany, and Brett are in a group for English, and I totally wasn't paying attention, but we have to do something about these sonnets, and we reeeally wanted that Fire and Ice sonnet since it's really straightforward, but then Ken/Billy SNATCHED IT AWAY, and we pretty much spent the rest of the period stealing cards from each other. Still ended up with the same thing though lol.

I really wanted to watch the first Homecoming Activity today, but I got a text from JenLeung during 4th saying that THEY MADE ME VP FOR CHINESE CLUB 8D so I had to go to P-5 during lunch. ): JenWa and I got over to the quad in like the last 10 minutes of lunch, and I was trying to get a picture of the board but then THEY STARTED TAKING IT AWAY. SO WE WERE LIKE "WAAAAIT."

First day of CSF tutoring; omg. There were so many people who needed tutoring! And I mean sure, math is always like the only subject that people actually need tutoring on, but it's usually like one or two people max. This time, I had like, 4 people just sit down at the table all at once. And I was like "O_O ... Do you all need help ... ?" AND THEN AS SOON AS ONE PERSON LEFT ANOTHER PERSON CAME AAAAH. ... But I made Kent stick around and keep me company so it was okay. Except he highlighted the moles on my arms. |:

Kent is a creeeeeeep. |:

Last night I spent like an hour finishing the Fill-in worksheet that we were supposed to do in class today because I wanted to do my calc homework in that time instead. ... But then Brooklyn-Daniel kept talking to me and I ended up getting like nothing done. D8

Him: I don't like wearing my glasses; they make me look like a smartass.
Me: Well maybe you should cuhs without them you look like a dumbass.

Ohohohoho I'm so witty ~ But yeah, no, he's cool. xD

And then after 5th Khang called me and asked me to go take pictures of the posters everyone did for Mas, cuhs we're gonna have a quiz tomorrow on something like this. But I'm pretty relieved cuhs I have like no actual homework besides calc, so I pretty much have the whole night to study Physics, Gov, and Enviro (the review game's tomorrow; I need to find a new badass team D:).
