Mind Madness Finals;
Nelson wouldn't let us go watch during 4th period, so I practically ran over to Saxon Hall as soon as the bell rang for lunch. Riju's team lost. I was sooo surprised, I thought it was going to be them for sure, but I guess apparently in the first round Donna's team dominated. Which, I dunno, I still kind of wished Riju's team won, since it was entirely William answering on Donna's team, whereas the effort was a little more "equal" on Riju's team.

Mind Madness Semi-Finals;
I watched the match with Riju's team and Jasmine's team, so naturally I was rooting for Riju's team since Jasmine's team should not be there. It should be us. ): Seriously, the only one who even answers is Jasmine. And I think Bea spelled "fourteenth" wrong. I think that speaks for itself. But yeah, I was actually surprised cuhs Zak was the one answering most of the questions on the other team; I would've thought Riju and Adam would be more active in answering. But yeah, they won pretty easily. The last lightning round gave them an NHL team, and they had to find the NBA equivalent, and I was like "OMG. WHAT THE HELL. I KNOW THIS." And I was sooo pissed, because during the entire Mind Madness rounds that we were in, we never got a single sports lightning round, and I memorized all that shit. ;~~~; Zak was the only one who was answering that, so he got most of them wrong, and dammit, I would've owned that round. T____T

After Mom picked me up from work, we stopped by that Chinese bakery cuhs she wanted to pick up some breads for Chiang Yeh Yeh, and while we were at it, I got a cheesecake and green tea ... thing. 8D

I suggested we go to Umemura for dinner, cuhs I didn't bring her back anything when I went yesterday (I didn't have enough money! ;o; I totally thought about it though).

Went shopping with mom at Forever21 today. 8D I wanted to get some new jeans for Europe cuhs I only have, like. Three pairs. But we ended up getting other stuff too ~

She was trying to decide between these two bags, and she was so indecisive that I was just gonna offer to buy them for her so she didn't have to decide. But I mean, it was like $40 for both bags. And I kind of wanted to save money for Europe. ... - cough -
But yeah, in the end she decided she didn't like either enough to actually get them. xD;

Stats session with Lori, Layne, and Danielle; Lori and I needed to finish our Spring Break packet before we left for Europe. Layne was there cuhs we need his brain, and Danielle was there because ... yeah.

We were practicing our French and German for Europe! 8D It did not go so well.

We were talking about going somewhere to eat afterwards, and I mentioned Umemura because I love that place so much, so we went. I went with Layne, and it was funny because I kept listing all the reasons why I shouldn't feel safe riding with him (his cast hahah).

They were pretty surprised by the size of the bowls; Layne got the same thing as me, and I think he liked it. 8D I love Umemura. Mom got mad at me afterwards for going without her lol.

Had to get a ride home from Kazuma today; he was, like, dead set against taking me. -_- Even though he used to give Andy rides, like, every day. And he takes Kevin every day. Pshhh.

We had a swim meet against Culver City today (and Inglewood was there. Again lol.) We had all these returners come back (ie: Ly-an, Lani, Hope; Ly-an brought all this food that I totally pigged out on hahah), and it was fun. I got first in the 100 Breaststroke! : D <3

On the way back I played Ken Checkers, and I annihilated him.

Mind Madness Round Two! (We didn't play yesterday cuhs apparently they held it off since AP Physics had a field trip or something. Which is stupid because last year my AP Bio class had a field trip on the second round too.)
We totally thought we were going up against sophomores the whole time, and they ended up being seniors, but still, we totally dominated! It was so awesome, I was totally getting adrenaline rushes hahah.

My Harvest Moon game arrived! n______n <3
It's really cute. It's a lot more plot oriented though, well at least more than the other HM games I've played. Still, the graphics and everything are a huge improvement. I'm kind of torn over which bachelor to pursue hahaha.

Mind Madness Round One!

We went against these Freshmen, and the final score was something like 30-14. (:

The Branch Honors Recitals were today, and I was helping Mom seat the performers and stuff, along with Jennifer Wu and Nikita.

Jennifer and Nikita both brought their laptops, and Nikita and I were watching "The Wedding Planner" on hers. I'm not very partial to Jennifer Lopez's acting and movies and stuff, and this one seemed kind of ehh as well.

That short kid in the black suit, in the front row, to the right of the kid in the vest? That's Chase Yun, I taught him swimming the last session I taught on a Saturday, and I still feel kind of bad cuhs I had testing days (PSAT, ACT, etc) three Saturdays in a row, but I didn't realize that, and I only told him I'd be gone one week, but I ended up being gone the whole rest of the session, and then I never taught Saturday again, and he was one of the few kids I actually liked from that session. ):

But that was like months ago, and I don't think he even remembers me anyway.

This guy, Michael Murata, was playing in the break between the last recital and the recital he was performing in. He played so so so good. I think that's his girlfriend next to him, and he was playing this whole Final Fantasy medley (I think; I only recognized a few FFX songs), and then there was all this jazzy stuff at the end, and omg, it was amazing. But then Mom told him to step down cuhs the next recital was about to begin, but dang. It was really beautiful.

That recital; there's that Michael guy towards the right, and there's Forest in the back. We saw his girlfriend, and she was really pretty (she has to be like some fraction black though, and really mixed), and Jennifer and Nikita were being so overly big sister-ish, and I was just kind of there cuhs ... yeah, I don't actually talk to him much.

Girl in front row, white dress, righter one - Phoebe Cho; I think I taught her in the same session as the one Chase was in. But somehow I don't feel quite as bad as never seeing her again without an explanation. =P

We held a Mind Madness study session all day at Aileen's house hahah. Jennifer couldn't make it cuhs she found out about some baby shower thing that she couldn't get out of, so it was just me, Aileen, and Billy. Oh, and I found out that Aileen, like, literally lives right behind me lol. I decided not to take my camera cuhs I figured we'd just be studying for like an hour or two, but we ended up staying from 12:30 to past 7pm! Aileen's mom was really nice, and she brought us so much food hahaha (first she brought us some chips and salsa, then she ordered us pizza, then she brought us these quesadilla-like things, then she got us egg rolls, then she got us chocolate chip cookies, and then finally she made us this really nice steak salad *____*), and omg, apparently Aileen's dad hunts, and there were all these caribou and antelope heads on the walls in the garage (that's where we were, although it's furnished more like a regular room), and there were these birds he shot, and there were pictures of him killing them hahaha. It was awesome, I so wish I had a picture. But yeah, I brought Andy's video camera, and we watched the three rounds he had taped last year, and then afterwards we just printed a lot of information and quizzed each other. I got basketball and football down! (:

After a while, we started losing momentum in studying, so I suggested we play Zahada since it was like riddles and stuff, and we ended up doing that for another hour or so hahah. But yeah, I really feel like we got a lot accomplished today.

Today was the Chalk Walk and Celebration of the Arts is later tonight, so all day, people were out there doing their chalk drawings. I didn't participate, but this year's turnouts really made me want to do it next year!

We found Pioch hanging out around the Chalk Walk, and also that the Brackets weren't posted in the library, and I was like "I neeeeed to know! D8" so he said they were in his office and that we could just go in and check, so Aileen and I went over lol. We're in Bracket B (I didn't get a chance to take a picture of it), and we're going against Freshmen on Monday! The only one I know is Kevin Mai's brother, and he'a wrestler so we figure they can't be that smart, but I'm not gonna make the same mistake this year and underestimate them hahah.

I was helping Chinese Club sell boba (which we sold out on really fast), but there wasn't much to do before and after, so I was taking pictures hahah. Oh, and I totally didn't bring those sodas that Ms. Vuong asked me to. Because screw Amnesty, I haven't been to a meeting in months. Oh, and I totally got sunburned from this lol. Which is so pathetic.
