So today during English, the principal came on over the intercom and announced that we would stay in our 2nd periods for the next two hours, and that no one was to go outside for any reason. And then I was like "Dammit!" because I had been thinking about running over to my locker to get my spring break calc homework so I could work on it this period, and now I would be stuck in here for the next two hours doing nothing. Anyway, the whole announcement kind of took us by surprise, and Anderson didn't know anything about it either, but pretty soon it was going around the class that the police were here with dogs and everything, and they were conducting a drug search. We only ended up staying an extra hour, but apparently they found all kinds of stuff in people's lockers, and they pulled out and suspended (?) 4 people.

Apparently they were doing the search because there'd be a lot of drug activity around North recently; Jen said that two weeks ago Paul Ha got caught dealing drugs and stuff. And I mean, I guess I won't say I'm completely shocked - after talking to Jasmyne last time I'm kind of past that. But I mean, he's a nice guy; I had PE with him. It's just, I dunno, sad? I guess?
