We arrived in London around 6am over there. The weather was not as cold as Mom had told me; a little chilly, but she had me thinking, like, 20 degrees F!

I love London. It is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen. There are so many trees and flowers, and flowering trees! And the architecture is really amazing, I mean, I've never been one to admire architecture, but the buildings here were amazing.

The street in front of our hotel; there were these telephone booths out front, and pasted on the walls were all these pictures of naked women, and we were all like "O_O Why do they have those there?!" and someone was like "... So you can have something to look at while you make your call?"

Our room was a lot smaller than we expected, and we ended up only rooming with one other person instead of two, so I went with Lori, and Trisha went with Loralyn. Also, there was only one bed, so we were like "... D:"

London Underground; we were like "lolol where's Harry Potter."

I love the subway system. So so much. Seriously, it would be so awesome if we had a subway system connecting everything in Torrance; would be so much easier for me to get to work and Del Amo and stuff.

The first place we visited was St. Paul's Cathedral. The architecture was, again, amazing, and it was just so easy to appreciate all the intricate details and carvings. Unfortunately I was completely jet lagged, and I was
exhausted, and our tour guide's lengthy historical facts didn't help much.

So photography's not allowed in there, but I took this before they told me that lol whoops.

Shakespeare's Globe Theatre; it was kind of a waste going to see it though, cuhs we walked all this way over a bridge and stuff, took a few pictures, and then walked all the way back.

There is just this whole feeling of culture and community in London. And Covent Garden, omg, it's like the center of culture and entertainment! There were so many musicians and magicians and other street performers, and so many little eateries and shops, it was amazing. Pioch gave us an hour to eat and browse around and do some shopping, which was so new to me, since I've never been, like, set loose in a completely foreign place by myself. At one point I was separated from my "group" (since I asked Lori to wait for me while I looked at postcards and she just walked off -_-), but it's so weird, I just felt so confident and comfortable and not panicky at all just walking around on my own, even though I had no idea where anyone else was. I can't even explain it properly, I just got some kind of weird thrill from being completely on my own I guess.

Before I got all separated from everyone, we went to this little crepe shop called Creme de la Crepe, cuhs everyone wanted to try a crepe. They had a wide selection of savory crepes and sweet crepes, and I always thought they were
supposed to be savory, so I got one called Gone Fishin' (everyone else got something sweet), and it had salmon and mayonnaise in it, and okay, it sounds a little gross, and it was a little overwhelming when I ate it, but it was good. And it just keeps getting better in my memory hahah.
When we all met back up at the meeting spot, Alex and Moah were missing. And we were all like "Omg, where are they? O_O" Pioch said maybe they went back to the hotel. We stayed there for an extra half hour just waiting, and then Pioch was like "Alright, well we waited half an hour. They're at the hotel." At one of our meetings he basically told us what to do if we ever got separated from the group, and gave us a list of all the hotels we'd be staying at and the address and number and everything, but I was still kind of freaked, cuhs the subway route back to the hotel was so winding and intricate there was no way they just made their way back to the hotel.
We went back to the hotel, and then we had some free time before coming down for dinner, and when we came down, Alex and Moah were back, and apparently the food they ordered took a long time, and by the time they'd finished eating, we were already gone, so they followed Pioch's advice and got a cab.

Dinner was nothing extraordinary.
