I'm such a mess right now. Definitely need to start working on the scrapbook, but I just have so many projects lined up. :\ I need to get my anatomy project done by tomorrow and then I can start working on it.

So today I finally started my Service Learning Project by helping out at the front desk at the Y (after Art informed me that it's illegal for me to volunteer in Aquatics cuhs I'm employed there, and I cried and made him feel guilty, so he set up everything for me to work in Membership xD;).

So. The guy on the right's name is Andy, and apparently his sister's name is Annie, and I was like "Whoa! My brother's name is Andy! 8D" and yeah. Fun stuff lol. Although I do have mixed feelings about him, cuhs he kind of half-yelled at me when I sat on the desk, and. Yeah. -.-

The guy on the left is Keith, and he is the nicest guy in the wooooorld. Seriously, I love him. He's just like one of those genuinely nice people. Not like Gale; he's genuinely friendly and outgoing. There's a difference lol. But yeah, Keith; apparently our shifts overlap on the weekend and we both get off at 2pm, so that's cool; I might still see him around after I finish my 10 hours (I definitely see Andy around from time to time). When I mentioned that I needed to be evaluated on my performance, he took the paper and gave me all 3's, which are perfect scores. (And then right after that I missed pressing the buzzer to let some lady in, and she kind of rammed into the thing, and he was like "... I think I need to reevaluate you." And I was like "Lol whoops. Well I have everything signed; maybe I just won't show up tomorrow. 8D")

But yeah, I still have the other 5 hours left for tomorrow, so I'll get to work with him again tomorrow, so that should be fun. =D

So Salma wrote this on my hand while we were playing Pineapple today, and when I was lifeguarding later, one of the kids in the pool suddenly says to me "You know Salma?" To which I respond "Salma? ... Does she work here?" Cuhs the kid was totally asking me about something else, and just switched over without warning! D8 And then the kid says "No ~ Salma from North High." To which I'm like "Salma Fariz?" And he's like "- nod nod -" And I'm like "Yeah I know her! She's in my class! 8D" And yeah. I guess his sister is her friend. Small world, lulz ~

J's & V's - New Member Banquet

We got out during 4th period; Rashika didn't even sign up and didn't even have a pass! xD;

Bea had the new members do some activity she learned at RYLA with personality traits and stuff. And idek; I mean I guess it's a good idea to do some kind of activity or a mixer of sorts, but this wasn't quite what I had in mind. It felt like. School. :\

Sammy Saxons were tonight; I had a lot of fun dressing up. 8D <3

Another easy day in Stats; we were playing that card game that Dayna taught us, but that none of us know the name to, so I suggested that we name it so that "we can be like 'Yeah! Let's play that game!' and someone else can be like '... You mean this game?' and we'll be like '... Sure! 8D'" So yeah. Dayna named it Pineapple Express, and then shortly afterwards, Cindy was like "Ooh ~ are you guys playing Wipeout?" To which Dayna responded "It's Pineapple Express! D8<"

It's Memorial Day, so I suggested we go out for breakfast again on me. =D Mom invited Dan, and Andy didn't want to go, so yeah. I got the Breakfast Sampler this time, and never again. D: That thing was huge, and I couldn't really finish it, but I didn't want to waste food, so I made myself eat it. And yeah. D8 But it was good. But I'm sure none of it's healthy. xD;

I got all my pictures for J's & V's developed today! =D Costco's was closed, but Sam's, which is, like, right next to it, was open lol. We spent all this time on the machine where you stick in your memory card, cuhs first I thought it wasn't the 1-hr thing and that it was some kind of home delivery thing, and then Mom told me not to develop non-J's & V's pictures, and then she said okay, and I ended up restarting it like 3 times. -.- We browsed around Sam's for an hour while we were waiting, and I found Season 1 of The Office! It's really short though. And it was still $20 like the other seasons. I feel ripped off somehow. D: And I felt like watching Twilight even though it sucks, cuhs it's kind of entertaining lol.

While we were browsing around, I saw these shorts, and we ended up getting two pairs for Andy, and then Mom and I went off talking about how he sucks at dressing himself, and how he should match the red one with a black shirt, and so we ended up going around and hunting for shirts for him to match with the shorts. xD He wore them later today when he went with Antoine to watch Angels & Demons. 8D

Mom and Dan went to the ballet today, and when they came back, they got us these huge cups of frozen yogurt from Yogurt Island! *___* We don't usually get toppings, but Mom said that she saw Dan's, and his was all pretty, so she put some in too lol. And yeah, it looks really pretty, but the fruits are always half frozen and kind of sour. xD;

So this morning I dropped one of my contacts. Again. And I couldn't find it. Again. So I had to get a new pair. Again. And then around 9pm-ish I found it. It was all dried up and hard and brittle. o_o; I did not know that happened to contacts.

Mom and I went shopping, and while we were in Forever21, I heard this song. And I was like "OMG. IT'S THAT SONG I HEARD WHILE I WAS IN EUROPE THAT I COULD NOT FIND AFTERWARDS. O_O" And I memorized one of the lines and looked it up when I got home, and it was "Walking On A Dream" by Empire of the Sun! =D The singer looks really creepy. xD

The Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament was today. =D

We went up against Stewart Lee and his brother Eddie, so we were like "... Well damn. D8"

Also, we had the swim banquet today! =D It was at Buca di Beppo instead of Cheesecake Factory where we usually have it. Food was better (still wasn't worth the $30 though), but we didn't even have our own room or anything, so that was a minus, since we couldn't exactly walk around or anything.

We started drawing on the back of our paper place mats (or idek, whatever you call those things), and yeah. Ken is a douche. -_-

With the coaches. (: They gave me MVP for Girls Varsity, which I did not expect, since I thought they'd give it to Sandi (well they gave her Freshman MVP or something lol) cuhs I started slacking off halfway through the season lol.

Hahaha we saw this picture when we went to the bathroom, and I was like "lololol." And then later when I was leaving with Jennifer, I mentioned how I wished I'd taken a picture of it, and then we passed the front door, and she told me to go in and take a picture, and she'd tell her dad, so I went lolol. But I didn't take a really great picture, or zoom in as much as I could've and stuff, cuhs I think the workers were giving me weird looks and I felt awkward hahaha.

ASB Student Council elections were today; Tatsuya's new ASB Prez, Mazen's ASB VP, Josh is Senior Prez, Melanie Mitchell is Senior VP, Grace got Comm of Honors, Bea got Publicity, Bren got Athletics, Jacob got Technology, and I forget the rest for now. :| It's not faaaair, Grace already has 3 positions now! D: I'm not saying she doesn't deserve it (hell, I voted for her), but stiiiiiiiill. If I don't get J's & V's, I won't have anything next year. :\

NHS Induction Ceremony

So I didn't win the presidency, but it's weird. This is, like the first time I haven't been bitter about losing a position to someone. After Donna said Grace's name, I was actually happy for her, and I actually meant it when I said I was sure she'd do a great job. I'm disappointed, of course, but I dunno. Maybe it just hasn't completely hit me yet.

We had a late start today, and every time we have a late start, Mom and I agree to go out for breakfast, but then we never wake up for it, or else we wake up but decide to keep sleeping, or something. This time we pulled through and went to Ihop, cuhs I went there with my friends a few late starts back, and it was good. : D <3 I always forget to take pictures of food before we eat, cuhs I always get so hungry waiting hahaha.

OMG. OMG. THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE A WINGSTOP HERE. OMG YAY. =D

Omar's Brawl tournament is this Friday, and Jen and I were supposed to be practicing, but that doesn't work out well since I'm the only one with a Wii, so I've been meaning to play Steven online for a while now lol. We were supposed to brawl over the weekend and Monday, but either I had to work or he fell asleep at 8, and it just didn't work out lol. But yeah, I went home after Ihop and brawled him hahah; I think we're about the same, but he played Samus Zero Suit, and she's so much faster than Kirby lol.

We were in the library working on our projects for Calc, and I think we were one of the only groups who actually sat outside of the computer lab. I think today was the first time that I realized that those matted picture thingies hanging on the wall were made by actual students; I saw the little post-it notes for the first time lol. Caleb made the cute green dinosaur one; that actually sounds about right hahah. I looked over to see who made the Lambo one, and I had to get closer to make sure I was reading it right, cuhs the note said "Ken Dekitani," LOL. And all this time I was like "Ooh! I wonder who else likes Katekyo Hitman Reborn! =D"

Went shopping at Walmart ~ I actually went cuhs I wanted to try Clinique's tinted moisturizer, but what I didn't realize was that Clinique is apparently not a whatever-brand (apparently it's like. Estee Lauder or something. And only stores like Macy's has it. Who knew. =P), and so Walmart does not carry it, so meh.

J's & V's - LA Lung Cancer Walk at Manhattan Beach

So there was this Starbucks stand set up, and the employees would take turns coming out with trays of coffee samples, and Layne and I would go get another cup every time they switched hahaha. But yeah, I think they actually appreciated us taking so many, cuhs they had to get rid of the cups, and not many people were taking them after a while. I proposed we take a picture with them after our 5th cup or so hahah.

Some of us went to Costco afterwards to get lunch; I still owe Layne $2.50 hahah.
