OMG. THEY HAD THESE. AT MARUKAI (okay actually Ralphs has them too, but when I went they didn't have it in white chocolate |:). I LOVE THESE SO MUCH. I BOUGHT SOME IN EUROPE AND OMG. THEY JUST MELT IN YOUR MOUTH! ... Except I guess these were a little different, and the outer non-melty layer was a little thicker, so it didn't just
melt right when you put it in your mouth like the ones I had before did. Even so, they were delicious. ♥
... And then we went to Nijiya for some cake hahah. Clearly I'm telling my diet to suck it. (8
Mom and I tried making some zongzi tonight! =D Granted we made the easiest kind possible, and ours turned out kind of twisted and oddly shaped, but they tasted good enough lol. It was definitely hard work though; I have new respect for Grandma and all those times she made hundreds of these.
